We signed John Steve Brunache with PeaceTones in the Fall of 2012. The first song we heard by him was “Linyon,” or “L’union,” a beautifully melodic song about his relationship with his home country, Haiti. It was this song, and John Steve’s story of inspiring a nation and being exiled for it by the Duvalier government in the 1990s.
